Use Custom Widgets in Entries | Classic

Once you have added a custom widget in your stack, you can use it in the entries of selected content type(s).

To use custom widgets in an entry, log in to your Contentstack account, and perform the following steps:

1. Go to your stack, open the Content tab (if it is not open), and click on the content type for which you have enabled the custom widget.
2. Create or open an entry, click on the Widgets drop-down located at the top, and select the widget that you want to add in the entry.

   Note: If you are creating an entry, add content to it, and save the entry. As soon as you save your entry, you will see the Widgets drop-down at the top.

   
3. Then, the selected widget will expand in the sidebar. Run it to see the results.

Once done using the widget, click on the close (x) button.
